Also, the braces for which Betty is famous are phony. The actress actually has a very lovely smile, which is all the more beautiful when compared to the discolored and bracketed grin of her alter-ego. All told, while insuring her smile may initially appear materialistic to the max, it is really an impressive move on the part of Ferrera, whose grace and confidence, even in full “Ugly” attire, serve as an inspiration to thousands of young women.
